From France, you can reach Sardinia by plane (direct flights from Paris, Marseille, Nice to Cagliari or Olbia) or by ferry from Marseille, Toulon, or Genoa to Ajaccio then Sardinia. The ferry crossing takes between 10 and 20 hours depending on the departure port.
