How do I get to Sardaigne?

Generally by plane with direct flights from Paris, as well as from Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon, Strasbourg… to Olbia (in northern Sardaigne) or in the south to Cagliari (the capital). It's also possible to fly with Alitalia with connections through Milan or Rome daily.

Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Toulon to Porto Torres in the northwest of Sardaigne. This is convenient if you want to bring your car!

Flight duration:

Expect approximately 2 hours of flight time. The airports in Cagliari and Olbia are close to city centers and easily accessible by public transport (train service from Cagliari's Elmas airport). We recommend booking your tickets well in advance, as flights fill up quickly during peak summer season, particularly in July and August.

What is the climate like in Sardaigne?

It's a Mediterranean climate with beautiful weather most of the time. Sunshine is guaranteed in summer, though it can get quite warm!

In winter, it can snow in central Sardaigne (the Gennargentu massif)!

Spring is the most pleasant time to discover Sardaigne. The shoulder seasons are also wonderful.

Can I use my mobile phone?

The telephone network works in Sardaigne. However, in the island's interior and in certain remote areas, there may be no signal. This makes Sardaigne an ideal destination for digital detox stays!
